Karim AbillamaChairman
Karim Abillama is Mitsulift’s CEO and also serves on its Board of Directors. Karim joined Mitsulift in 1993 as Managing Director. He is largely credited for developing the company into a joint-venture with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation in 2000 and leading its expansion in eight different countries across three continents, to become the regional leader in building moving systems. Prior to joining Mitsulift, Karim was Assistant General Manager at the Compagnie Française d’Ascenseurs in Paris, France, for nearly three years. He serves on the boards of 22 Degrees S.A.L. (also Founding Partner), ABC S.A.L., Al Amir Holding S.A.L. and NY Invest S.A.L. Karim earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University in the US, a M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montreal in Canada and a MBA from INSEAD in France. |
