The first open-air tower, a genuine vertical city in the heart of Abidjan in Ivory Coast!

La Tour Cacao is a vertical metaphor for transforming raw cocoa into a refined product. The tower’s base is a stylized representation of a raw cocoa pod; it changes color in the evening, mirroring a natural pod according to its maturation stage. The more turbulent intermediate floors form a volumetric perspective represent the industrial transformation of cocoa. The upper floors rising with clean lines represent the refined chocolate resulting from the transformation.

La Tour Cacao is a 29-storey tower – one of the tallest in West Africa – and will be fitted with 10 Mitsubishi elevators.
